As it turns out, I wasn’t able to spend a great deal of time in Cairo – what with all the jet setting around Egypt or chilling out and recuperating at Dana’s apartment in Maadi (which is a nice little ex-pat section of Cairo) – I did, however, get to spend one incredible evening with Dana and Kyle at the Khan el-Khalili: Cairo’s major market that was built in the mid 1300s. The next time I go, I definitely want to see more of this amazing city.
